Flood Inundation Mapping and Alert Network Update

Greetings from the Flood Inundation Mapping and Alert Network, or FIMAN, an application produced by North Carolina Emergency Management.

On May 1, 2024, a new version of the FIMAN application was released. It features an improved design, better response to sudden increases in traffic, and is easier to use from a mobile device.

To continue receiving the alerts you configured in the old site (located at https://legacyfiman.nc.gov for the next 90 days), you will need to re-configure them in the new one. We have provided instructions and videos to help you with this transition.

You can find more information on the FIMAN Help page.

After 90 days, the alerts in the old application will be disabled, so please be sure to re-configure them in the new one. Contact fimanhelp@ncdps.gov if you have any questions.
