Donations

Money

Monetary donations to established relief agencies are always more beneficial to survivors and relief operations.  Governor McCrory activated the NC Disaster Relief Fund in partnership with the United Way of North Carolina to support long-term recovery efforts.

All contributions are tax deductible.  To make a donation, go to NCDisasterRelief.org or text NCRECOVERS to 30306.

  • Note: Shelters cannot accept prepared or pre-packaged food or beverage donations from individuals or civic groups. Organizations that operate shelters must adhere to state health department guidelines to ensure that all food and beverages distributed to those staying in the shelter are safe.
