Meeting of Governor’s Task Force on Safer Schools Set for Wednesday in Raleigh

RALEIGH

WHAT:  The Governor’s Task Force on Safer Schools provides guidance to the N.C. Center for Safer Schools and considers future policy and legislative action that is needed to improve school safety in North Carolina.

WHEN:  Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015; 10 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.

WHERE:  Governor’s Crime Commission Office, First Floor Conference Room;
1201 Front St., Raleigh

PLEASE NOTE: On Tuesday, Dec. 8, the Task Force’s Substance Abuse and Gang Intervention Committee will meet from 10 a.m. – noon; and the Mental Health and Students with Special Needs Committee will meet from 1-3 p.m. All meetings will take place at the Governor’s Crime Commission Office.
