Intensive Intervention Services RFP for Gang-Involved Youth in Forsyth and Guilford counties

This Request for Proposal aims to impact juveniles involved in the juvenile justice system who have been identified as being gang-involved in Forsyth and Guilford counties. Juveniles who are gang-involved and showing significant criminalized behaviors require specialized programs, curricula or targeted interventions that impact their desire or need to be a gang member and helps them safely exit their gang membership and transition into becoming productive members of the community in which they live.

Gang-involved youth are responsible for a disproportionate share of crime in communities. Successfully tackling gang involvement and associated criminal activities should result in a substantial reduction of crime — including violent crime — in effected neighborhoods. To that end, many programs and strategies have been developed to prevent gang involvement, reduce the criminal activities of gang members, and help individuals disengage from gangs.

Interested Vendors should respond to the Request for Proposal in NC Allies under the Level II Endorsed Program Application by Nov. 9 at 11:59 p.m.
