Vehicles are sold through online auction, but may be viewed in person at N.C. State Surplus Property, 6501 Chapel Hill Road, Highway 54 W. Raleigh, N.C. 27607. The office is open Mondays through Fridays, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. and closed on state holidays.  The Warehouse, Vehicle Lot and Retail Store open Mondays through Fridays, 9:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. and closed on state holidays (Keys for viewing auction vehicles are not issued after 4 pm).

The pricing of all surplus fleet vehicles are researched and established at a fair market value by a special retail protocol approved by the N.C. Division of State Surplus Property based upon the vehicle's year, make, model and mileage. All vehicles are sold "as-is" with no discounts, warranties or other incentives offered.
