Individual Counseling
The program provides tutoring and homework assistance in a supportive environment. Meeting two days per week in addition to these primary services, the program also teaches character education, career exploration, life skills, and provides recreation. The goal of After-School Plus is to see the child succeed in school and home by establishing habits that will become automatic responses in the classroom and in life.

Coastal Horizons will expand our anger management group in Bladen County. Using Aggression Replacement Training (ART) which is an evidenced based intervention design to alter the behavior of chronically aggressive youth. It is designed to teach a broad curriculum of pro-social behaviors and anger control to empower youth to modify their own anger. It improves anger control, decreases the frequency of acting-out behaviors, and increases the frequency of constructive, pro-social behaviors.

The approach emphasizes wellness through improved communications between students and their parent(s)/guardian(s). The program incorporates core components of the following evidence-based curriculum: Project TND and Project ALERT.
