Not all of the programs listed receive funding and oversight by the Juvenile Justice Section of North Carolina Department of Public Safety’s Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice. The Therapeutic Foster Care program at Alexander Youth Network provides intensive therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents up to the age of 21 who are emotionally and/or behaviorally disturbed. The service is managed by professionals who are qualified and trained to provide individualized services to this population so that the highest level of functioning may be achieved by the child.

Our trained parents provide a safe, structured and therapeutic home environment for children and adolescents with emotional and/or behavioral health needs that make it difficult for them to be safely maintained in their home natural environment. All children are provided with therapeutic supports to prepare them to safely transition back home or to a lower level of care.

Home and community based treatment designed to meet the needs of families who are having a difficult time managing the behavior of a child with a diagnosed mental health need. Provides concentrated treatment to address a current crisis and/or to decrease the risk of a youth being removed from their home. IIH can also assist with successful reunification with their family.

Multisystemic Therapy
The ALIVE program will provide court referred youth ages 14-18 with a diverse vocational/life skills program. ALIVE focuses on teaching youth the skills needed to become responsible, healthy adults. This will be done by providing positive adult contact to teach acceptable social behaviors while using the research based curriculum Social Responsibility Training. ALIVE will also teach life skills such as money management, basic home repairs, cooking on a budget, resume building, job related skills

DPS Oversight
All God's Children of Burlington, LLC is a residential treatment facility for females age 8-18. AGC provides mental health services which include weekly therapy, medication management, and 24/7 supervision for consumers that have but not limited to mental health diagnoses, DSS/court involvement and behavior issues. Consumers are required to participate in all services provided and in the educational setting. Once completed they will step down to a lower level of care or return home.
