WHAT:

Hyde County Schools officials invite parents to attend an assembly this Thursday on bullying prevention and school violence.

William Lassiter, Deputy Commissioner for Juvenile Justice at the N.C. Department of Public Safety, will travel to the Mattamuskeet Campus to speak to Hyde County parents about bullying and the prevention of school violence. Lassiter is the co-author of “Preventing Violence and Crime in American’s Schools.”

Transportation and childcare will be provided if needed, and refreshments will be served.
