What: A Welcome Home Ceremony and Parade for North Carolina National Guard's 211th Military Police Company. Unit has recently returned from a year-long mission in Afghanistan.

When: Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, 3 p.m.

Where: Waynesville Courthouse, Waynesville, N.C.

Special Instructions: Interested media organizations are encouraged to arrive at the 2:30 p.m. in order to become oriented with the run of show and to allow time for set up for camera coverage. Interviews will be granted at the conclusion of the ceremony. The unit will identify soldiers from local area for interview subjects. Welcome Home Ceremony

RALEIGH - More than 100 soldiers of the North Carolina National Guard's 211th Military Police Company, based in Clyde, will receive a hero's welcome home from the leaders and citizens of Haywood County. A parade down main street and an official ceremony will occur at the Waynesville Courthouse.
