NCDPS to Hold Hiring Event at Lenoir YDC in Kinston on July 13

The N.C. Department of Public Safety will host a Juvenile Justice hiring event at the Lenoir Youth Development Center (3060 Dobbs Farm Road, Kinston, 28054), a 44-bed, NCDPS-operated facility, on Tuesday, July 13 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Public Safety Secretary Erik A. Hooks today announced his plans to retire from state service on August 1. Governor Roy Cooper appointed Hooks on January 5, 2017, to serve as Secretary of the Department of Public Safety and as the State Homeland Security Advisor.
