The Economic Mobility program at the Ada Jenkins Center supports individuals and families experiencing housing instability through a coordinated approach that includes rapid rehousing, financial assistance, and street outreach. Together, these services address immediate crises while supporting long-term stability and self-sufficiency. By addressing housing insecurity, financial stress, and unsheltered homelessness, the Economic Mobility services reduce key risk factors associated with violence and exploitation. Rooted in Housing First, trauma-informed care, and other harm reduction models, this program ensures residents of Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville receive accessible and effective housing and financial assistance. The Economic Mobility program prioritizes safety, stability, and access to resources, helping individuals and families move out of crisis and into secure, stable environments.
