On June 28, 2026, the Healing Healers Circle gathered at Pauline's Tea Bar Apothecary in Charlotte, NC, for an intimate afternoon of grounding, reflection, and restoration in honor of Gun Violence Awareness Month. The space was built on two simple but powerful convictions: those who carry the weight of gun violence and vicarious trauma deserve a place to set it down together, and grief shared is grief transformed.

Led by survivors for survivors, the afternoon moved through guided meditation, healing stations centered on nervous system care, creative writing, and artistic expression, a releasing ceremony, and a closing ritual rooted in collective affirmation.

The Healing Healers Circle's inaugural event was held in partnership with the NC Black Leadership and Organizing Collective (NC BLOC), North Carolinians Against Gun Violence (NCGV), Community Justice, Carolina Survivors Network, The Samuel Harrison Stitt Foundation, Sojourner Truth Place, LKP Equity, and Restore and Explore.
