Length of service: 4 to 6 months

The YDI Vocational and Career Development Academy engages adolescent juveniles ages 14 to 17 in an interactive, individualized learning process that includes personal career exploration, vocational trades exposure, life-job skills development, and paid work experiences. The year-round after school program offers juveniles a safe place to learn and grow and a meaningful connection to screened, caring, and trained adults who serve dual roles as YDI staff members and mentors.
