NCDPS is hosting a FREE instructional session for law enforcement and first responder agencies to learn best practices on interacting with the growing number of North Carolinians on the autism spectrum. Presenters Dennis Debbaudt and James Marble will share information built to help manage ASD risks at home, school and when traveling anywhere in the community. The goal of Helping Enhance Autism Response Training or HEART is to further safe contacts among law enforcement, first responders and individuals with autism.
Registration closes on July 27.
