State correctional and local law enforcement officers are seeking Wake Correctional Center minimum custody inmate Darius K. Wilcher (#1153699), who was reported missing from his approved work assignment in Raleigh on Friday. He was last seen near New Bern Avenue around 12:45 p.m.
Wilcher, 26, is a black male, 5’9’’ tall, 168 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes, who is originally from Wake County. He was serving a sentence for selling drugs and was admitted to prison on April 15, 2017. He was scheduled for release on June 1, 2019.
