Bladen County disaster information meeting rescheduled for Sept. 12

RALEIGH

A community disaster information meeting planned for tonight in Bladenboro has been rescheduled to avoid a scheduling conflict with an unrelated meeting for local officials. The community meeting is now planned for 6-7:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at Bladenboro First Baptist Church, 521 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive in Bladenboro.

The meeting is planned as part of a series of disaster information sessions that the state is hosting to provide updates and receive feedback on recovery resources in hurricane-impacted areas of eastern North Carolina. The partnership of agencies hosting the events includes the Office of Governor Roy Cooper, North Carolina Office of Recovery and Resiliency, North Carolina Emergency Management and North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
