What:  Crime Victims Compensation Quarterly Commission Meeting

Governor Pat McCrory has announced close to $70 million in grant funding to address issues related to human trafficking, gangs, veterans rights and safer communities and schools through programs administered by the Governor’s Crime Commission (GCC).

WHAT: The Governor’s Task Force on Safer Schools provides guidance to the N.C. Center for Safer Schools and considers future policy and legislative action that is needed to improve school safety in North Carolina. 

RALEIGH – The State Highway Patrol along with the North Carolina Department of Transportation conducted a bridge dedication ceremony today in memory of fallen Trooper Bobby Gene Demuth.  The ceremony was held at the Nash County Community College in Rocky Mount.
