FEMA/State Opens Temporary Mobile Disaster Recovery Center Nov. 1 for Three Days in Moore County

A temporary mobile disaster recovery center (MDRC) opens for three days in Moore County Tuesday, Nov. 1.  It will be open through Thursday, Nov. 3.

A MDRC is a readily accessible mobile office where you can go for information about FEMA, other disaster assistance programs or get answers to questions related to your situation. It is another way FEMA and the state are reaching out to North Carolina residents who suffered losses and damage as a result of Hurricane Matthew.

Governor McCrory Moves to Help Protect Consumers from Flooded Vehicle Fraud

Governor Pat McCrory has directed the N.C. Department of Transportation’s Division of Motor Vehicles to help consumers across the state identify signs of flooding when purchasing a vehicle.

Governor McCrory Secures Additional Federal Aid for Individuals and Local Governments

Governor Pat McCrory this afternoon received a federal disaster declaration to help individuals in Camden, Chowan, Currituck, and Pasquotank counties and to help the local government in Hertford County recover from the massive flooding caused by Hurricane Matthew.
