UPDATE: Escaped inmate Brandon Brim was captured at about 2 a.m. Monday in Winston Salem by Wake Forest University Police as he was attempting to break into cars.
Corrections and law enforcement officers are seeking inmate Brandon Brim, a minimum-custody inmate, who escaped from Forsyth Correctional Center in Winston-Salem around 10 p.m. tonight.
Brim, 28, is white male, serving approximately 7 years for habitual breaking and entering. He may attempt to travel to Davidson or Randolph counties or seek assistance from people he knows in those areas.
Anyone how has seen Brim, or has knowledge of his whereabouts, should notify local law enforcement or Forsyth Correctional Center at 336-896-7041.
