On Thurs., Nov. 5, at approximately 6:35 a.m., the Highway Patrol responded to a collision on N.C. 50 near Ten-Ten Road, Garner.
A 2005 Nissan passenger vehicle operated by Kasem Suheil Qassem, 18, of 112 Scarlet Green Court Raleigh, was traveling south on N.C. 50. Mr. Qassem traveled left of center and struck a 2015 Chevrolet pick-up traveling north on N.C. 50.
After impact, both drivers were transported to Wake Medical Center. The driver of the Chevrolet pick-up has been identified as David Ronald Hall, 64, of 120 Greenway Drive Four Oaks.
Mr. Qassem has been listed in critical condition as a result of the collision.
Mr. Hall received minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Charges are pending a further investigation.
