Join GCC planning staff for an online training event dedicated to non-profit and governmental agencies who wish to apply for upcoming grants with GCC.  Participants will learn how to apply for a grant and GCC staff will review the funding priorities established by GCC Commissioners, eligibility requirements, supporting documentation required, as well as gaining access to and navigating the EBS grants management System.The workshop will be recorded and posted to the GCC website.

Join GCC Grants management staff for an online training event dedicated for those agencies that have been approved for funding beginning Oct. 1, 2024. GCC staff will provide basic instruction on the steps needed to start your project and submit reimbursements, budget adjustments and mandatory reports.  Additional topics will include Civil Rights Requirements and How to use the EBS online portal that GCC uses to manage grants.  This is an interactive online event, where you can ask questions.

Governor's Crime Commission Executive Director Caroline Farmer calls attention to the decline in Victim of Crime Act funding and suggests ways North Carolinians can help ensure our communities continue to support family members, neighbors, coworkers, friends and acquaintances who have been victims of crime.
The Governor's Crime Commission will hold its quarterly meeting on Mar. 7, 2024. The event is open to the public.
