SRT Training
N.C. Wildlife Law Enforcement has protected the public and provided conservation since 1947. Wildlife Law Enforcement Officers enforce state and federal game, fish and boating laws in the state of North Carolina.
ARIDE is intended to bridge the gap between the SFST and the Drug Evaluation and Classification Program by providing officers with general knowledge related to drug impairment and by promoting the use of Drug Recognition Experts (DREs). The ARIDE program stresses the importance of the signs and symptoms of the seven (7) drug categories. This course will train law enforcement officers to observe, identify, and articulate the signs of impairment related to drugs and/or alcohol, thereby reducing the number of impaired driving incidents and crashes that cause serious injuries and fatalities.
Established in 1937, the SBI conducts criminal investigations across the state of North Carolina and are often called upon by local agencies to assist them when and where needed. The SBI Headquarters is located in Raleigh, with eight additional district offices as well.
This program focuses on essential leadership skills for aspiring leaders. This includes key practices of exemplary leadership and how to lead with a fundamental understanding of gender differences, and how gender intelligence contributes to stronger teams. This program focuses intensely on understanding human behavior, emotional intelligence, and the importance of understanding yourself and the motivators and values of those you lead. The program also covers interpersonal communication skills, team building, and situational decision-making.
In-Service Training

This forty-hour course is for law enforcement officers tasked with providing field training to law enforcement recruits who have completed BLET or equivalent training. It will focus on understanding the various roles that an FTO must fulfill and the basic requirements of their position.

This course is provided by Midwest Counterdrug Training Center (MCTC). This course is designed for anyone who may develop or use confidential informants regardless of the type of investigation. This course is encouraged for patrol officers, detectives, and federal law enforcement. There are numerous practical exercises during this course.
