AUFIRE is the only option that prepares trainees for the instant, intense, random, and distracting immobilization of a body part associated with a debilitation wound.

Samarcand Training Academy offers a wide variety of training classrooms. From large classrooms with seats for 40+ to intimate rooms of about 20 including one secure connection computer lab.
At Samarcand, we offer dining services throughout the week. Unique to the Samarcand Training Academy are meals completely covered for all North Carolina law enforcement individuals and those who are instructing them. The 7,500 square foot building built in 2019, is capable of seating 180 individuals.

Samarcand has a variety of orange and blue dummy guns and edged weapons available.
Samarcand offers both turning targets as well as a duel running man (DRM) system. These systems allow the shooter to engage moving targets under time constraints. Samarcand also offers remote control pop-up targets that can be put out at varying distances and angles.
Our fully equipped gym serves to provide a training and wellness space for agencies and those on campus. It is also a Criminal Justice Standards approved POPAT facility.

The MotoShot Robotic Moving Target Systems are extremely portable and can move in any direction, have variable speed, and can turn and charge the shooter in an instant. MotoShot is an intensely challenging firearms training system that will stretch any shooter’s skills.
A 16 station outdoor obstacle course is designed to fit a large array of training rigors and is maintained regularly to provide a year-round training space.
