NCDPS is hosting a FREE instructional session for law enforcement and first responder agencies to learn best practices on interacting with the growing number of North Carolinians on the autism spectrum (e.g. 1 among 54 children in the state has autism). The goal of Helping Enhance Autism Response Training or HEART is to further safe contacts among law enforcement, first responders and individuals with autism.
Parking Information
Parking for this event is located in the Oakland Parking Deck (690 Forest St., Greensboro, NC 27403). Nothing is required to enter the deck. Those who park in the deck will be given an exit pass during lunch that will be required to exit the deck.
