A minimum custody offender who went missing from his job assignment on Feb. 3 was captured this morning in Pennsylvania.

The state of North Carolina and FEMA have approved an additional $1.6 million to reimburse the City of Wilmington for debris removal costs following Hurricane Florence.

State correctional and local law enforcement officers are seeking Caldwell Correctional Center minimum custody offender Kevin B. Adams (#1589300), who was reported missing from his work release assignment this afternoon.

The Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice has named Stephen Jacobs as the new warden of the Lumberton Correctional Institution in Lumberton.Jacobs, 52, had been the warden at the Columbus Correctional Institution in Whiteville since 2018.
