FEMA Specialists to Offer Mitigation Tips at 84 Lumber in Fayetteville


Disaster survivors can get tips and advice on how to protect their families and their homes from future disasters at the 84 Lumber in Fayetteville Feb. 5 through Feb. 16.

FEMA mitigation specialists can answer questions about home repair, making disaster plans, putting together supply kits and the importance of flood insurance.

Mitigation is the effort to reduce the loss of life and property damage by lessening the impact of future disasters. The mitigation specialists will be available at:

84 Lumber
620 Belt Blvd.
Fayetteville, NC 28301

Tuesday, Feb. 5 through Saturday, Feb. 16
from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Not Available on Sundays

More mitigation events will be held at home improvement stores in disaster-affected North Carolina counties in the coming weeks.
