Who Should Attend and What You Will Learn

Grant Award Workshops

The GCC Grant Award Workshops provide instruction for those agencies that have been approved for funding beginning Oct. 1, 2019. GCC staff will provide basic instruction on the steps needed to start the project and submit reimbursements, budget adjustments and mandatory reports.

GCC has changed and improved upon many subrecipient requirements. As such, the Grant Award Workshop is mandatory for ALL subrecipients. A Project Director, Financial Officer or Authorizing Official must attend one of the two Grant Award Workshops or funding could be delayed.

Grant Writing Workshops

The Governor’s Crime Commission (GCC) Grant Writing Workshops provide non-profit and governmental agencies with information on the various types of grant funding available. GCC staff will review the funding priorities established by GCC Commissioners, eligibility requirements, supporting documentation required, as well as, how to submit an application in the Grant Enterprise Management System (GEMS).
