Dashboard: Public Safety Grants in North Carolina

The Governor's Crime Commission serves as the state administering agency responsible for applying for federal criminal justice funds. These federal funds, along with state-appropriated funds, are distributed to criminal justice agencies and nonprofits through a grant application process voted on annually by members of the commission.

This dashboard was created by the Criminal Justice Analysis Center, which serves as North Carolina's statistical analysis center supporting the Governor's Crime Commission and local partners across the state. CJAC also maintains the state's Justice Data Portal.
