The North Carolina State Highway Patrol in partnership with the Governors Highway Safety Program and local law enforcement agencies from across the state have released the results from the N.C. Interstate Challenge conducted during the Thanksgiving holiday travel period.

Governor Pat McCrory has declared November 29 through December 5 as Winter Weather Preparedness Week and is urging North Carolinians to update their emergency supplies kits and review emergency plans.
The North Carolina National Guard mobilized the headquarters and Headquarters Company of the 105th Military Police Battalion (HHC 105th MP BN) at Trinity Baptist Church, on Nov. 28 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
