The North Carolina Department of Public Safety is comprised of approximately 6,000 employees, along with around 10,000 North Carolina National Guard soldiers and airmen. Through effective law enforcement, juvenile justice programs, emergency response and recovery and homeland security preparedness, DPS employees help to ensure North Carolina is a safe place to live, work and visit.

ALE Executes Search Warrant on Illegal Alcohol Establishment
After reports of a hit and run involving an individual leaving the property, the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division (ALE) began an investigation into an illegal business in New Hill. The investigation culminated with the execution of a search on a residence where alcohol beverages were illegally sold.
