Caswell County Superior Court Judge John Morris has signed a temporary restraining order for a Chapter 19 Nuisance Abatement action against the owners and operators of N.V. Lounge, located at 510 Nunnally Road in Pelham.  

 

 

North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division (ALE) and Lenior Police Department (LPD) concluded an investigation, resulting in multiple criminal charges at an ABC permitted establishment in Lenoir, NC.

April is Alcohol Awareness Month, and NC Alcohol Law Enforcement would like to take the opportunity to raise awareness of an important issue they encounter in our state: underage youth purchasing, possessing and consuming alcoholic beverages.

On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, NC Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) Special Agents arrested Daniel Williams and Dexter Williams in the parking lot of Ehringhaus Smoke Shop and Convenience, located at 300 E. Ehringhaus Street, Elizabeth City, NC. in conjunction with an ALE investigation.

On March 14, at the Bob Barker Retreat along the Cape Fear River, North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement graduated its first female K-9 handlers, Special Agents Megan Scherbekow and Blythe Watson. These groundbreaking women have each put in 350 hours of training with their K-9s and have both dreamed of being K-9 handlers since they were children.

Charges have been made following an North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) investigation into a vehicle crash involving a 20-year-old driver and passenger.  

On Friday, February 16, ALE special agents charged several individuals with multiple felonies and misdemeanors after a combined investigation with the Greensboro Police Department was concluded.
