Shelters

109 shelters were opened to house 4,071 evacuees before, during and after the storm. The last shelter closed Nov. 14, 2016.

Recovery efforts

• All Disaster Recovery Centers are now closed. Effective Feb. 6, locations have become appointment-only TSA support centers.
• 50 counties are eligible for FEMA assistance – 45 counties are eligible for Individual Assistance & Public Assistance, 5 for Public Assistance only
