Addressing the Impacts of Violence: Providing Long-Term Support to Victims and Survivors

Violence can have lasting impacts on victims, survivors, and their loved ones. Programs and services that provide long-term support for victims and survivors are integral when implementing a comprehensive approach to addressing violence in a community. During this webinar, the North Carolina Victims Assistance Network (NC VAN) and the City of Durham’s Office of Survivor Care shared their approach to supporting victims and survivors, challenges experienced, and best practices for enhancing this work.
