County Violence Profiles to Support Local Prevention Planning
OVP produced factsheets that bring together community health and public safety data to inform violence prevention planning in each North Carolina county.

- Justice Data Portal: Explore crime data collected by agencies across the state.
- Criminal Justice Analysis Center Publications: Library includes annual report of crimes against persons and snapshot of firearm-related offenses.
Firearm Injury
- NC DETECT Firearm StoryMap: Explore both fatal and nonfatal firearm-related injuries reported via EMS records.
- NC-FASTER Quarterly Reports: Access fact sheets that highlight nonfatal firearm injuries at the state and county level. Reports highlight county and group-specific spikes in nonfatal firearm ED visits, as well as counties with the highest annual rates of injury.
- IVPB Webpage: Firearm-Related Deaths and Injuries: Review reports, fact sheets and slide decks that feature data from health data systems including NC-VDRS, death certificates, hospital department data and surveys. Fact sheets can be easily downloaded and shared.
Violent Death
- NC Violent Death Reporting System Dashboard: View statewide violent death trends by county, manner, demographics and circumstances. Data sources include death certificates, medical examiner reports and reports from law enforcement agencies.
