A store clerk has been criminally charged following a single-vehicle collision in Duplin County.On Friday, Dec. 2, North Carolina State Highway Patrol notified ALE of a collision involving an underage driver who had consumed alcoholic beverages. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Landen Lovic, 19, of Goldsboro who suffered minor injuries in the single vehicle crash and was transported to the hospital. Malt beverages were found inside the vehicle at the time of the crash and were believed to be a contributing factor.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Gracen Simmons, 20, of Middlesex who suffered serious injuries in the single vehicle crash.
