  • 393 households (1,117 people) are checked into hotels through FEMA's Transitional Sheltering Assistance program
  • 99,200 registered for disaster assistance
  • 38,139 visitors to one of the Disaster Recovery Centers
  • The last two shelters closed Nov. 9.

  • $119.2 million in state and federal grants have gone to nearly 32,500 homeowners and renters

  • Since the storm made landfall, NCDOT has relied on 2,579 employees and 208 contractor crews to clean up fallen debris and inspect and repair any damage to roads, shoulders and bridges. The department has used 1,389 chain saws, 1,520 trucks, 4,007 barricades, and more than 5,800 signs, among other equipment.
