  • 444 households (1,293 people) are checked into hotels through FEMA's Transitional Sheltering Assistance program

  • Since the storm made landfall, NCDOT has relied on 2,579 employees and 208 contractor crews to clean up fallen debris and inspect and repair any damage to roads, shoulders and bridges. The department has used 1,389 chain saws, 1,520 trucks, 4,007 barricades, and more than 5,800 signs, among other equipment.
