Como parte de la Colecta del Gobernador de Útiles Escolares, empleados del Departamento de Seguridad Pública de Carolina del Norte de todo el estado, han donado diversos útiles para los alumnos de NC.

Department of Public Safety employees around the state donated school supplies to North Carolina students as part of the Governor’s School Supply Drive. Secretary Eddie M. Buffaloe Jr. traveled to Randolph County and Asheboro City schools on Oct. 10 to donate supplies.

As Ian’s winds and rains leave North Carolina and the work of cleanup and power restoration is underway, Governor Roy Cooper cautions residents to be safe during cleanup work, as four deaths have been reported related to the storm.

Governor Cooper is urging North Carolinians to be safe and cautious during heavy rainfall, possible flooding and power outages as Hurricane Ian bears down on the state.
